Volunteer Advisory Board Members:

Joseph Almond
(San Diego, CA) is an Army Veteran, author, speaker and consultant.  He has 16 years expertise as a consultant specializing in the area of Diversity and Inclusion.  In his latest work, he is the Lead/Senior Facilitator for REBOOT, a San Diego Nonprofit veteran transition program. He has consulted with Fortune 500 companies in their planning and implementation of their Diversity and Inclusion Initiatives. These organizations have often exceeded their strategic goals.  The results have yielded more inclusive work environments and improved hiring practices.  Some of these organizations have been recognized as leaders in the area of Diversity and Inclusion.  Joseph has been praised for his ability to link people and productivity to company profitability.

Joseph's management and military background provides the foundation for his strength in Leadership, Diversity & Inclusion and Coaching.  Joseph's career has equipped him to consult with diverse organizations. These include corporate, government, military, restaurants, hospitals, telecommunications, energy, real estate, oil& gas, non-profit and community based organizations.

Joseph has developed and delivered curriculum in the areas of: Leadership and Diversity & Inclusion for his clients. He has a Bachelors Degree in Business Management.  He is a certified Mediator and a Certified Mastermind Executive Coach.

Sherri Dybdahl, LPC, CEAP (Portland, OR) has over 19 years of EAP experience, and also spent many years counseling clients with serious and persistent mental illness. Sherri became Director with OptumHealth EAP in 2006 and is enjoying leading a team of 70+ telecommuting professionals in developig and offering best in class EAP services. 

She earned her undergraduate degree in psychology and communications from Augsburg College in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Sherri went on to earn a master’s degree in Adlerian Counseling and Psychotherapy from the Alfred Adler Institute of Minnesota and recently completed a certificate in Interpersonal Neurobiology from Portland State University. She is a current board member for the Columbia River EAPA chapter.

Will Grupenhoff (San Diego, CA) is a passionate and driven leader that has over 23 years of successful sales management and marketing experience in a variety of industries from building products to high tech data storage and software sales. His superior achievements in creating strategic sales & marketing plans have led to greatly increased market share, considerable sales increases, greater profits and winning product launches. He was recetnly promoted to Senior Manager, Building Products and Services for Cause and Effect Evolutions , a marketing/ biz dev/ PR firm that has a proprietary cause called the Green School House Series.

Will’s sales philosophy centers around a consultative sales approach and pull through/market building strategy that engages every buyer and influencer in the purchasing process. He has a keen sense for operational strategy and how all departments can work together to achieve bottom-line success. Will has proven leadership success in transitioning teams and companies during high-stress situations like mergers and acquisitions.  

Will’s MBA from San Diego State University combined with real world experience running companies as a General Manager, as a co-founder of a software startup and extensive experience working with executive management, provides client companies with a sales and marketing executive that understands all aspects of an operation.

He is an accomplished photographer and loves to surf and golf when time allows.
